Launching the Women Writer's Prize
SheThePeople announces the inaugural Women Writer's Prize to begin a journey to connect and champion women writing fiction from India to readers around the world.
The Women Writer's Prize shines the light on women writing fiction in India.
This comes after seven years of SheThePeople organising Women Writers Fest, which has put the spotlight on women writers in the mixed-gender hurly-burly of other literature fests. Over the years Women Writers Fest has become the world's largest travelling festival of female writing across genres with over 40 editions and over 600 speakers.
